Sublimation is the process by which an image printed on paper (such as a photo) is transfered onto another surface. Sublimation is most commonly used on T-Shirts, tiles and metal plaques.

Dye-sublimation inks are converted to gas when transfered under heat and pressure, chemically bonding with the fabric or the coating on a hard surface object. Therefore, ink penetrates below the surface and becomes permanent on the object.

Because of its permanent nature, sublimated designs won't wash off. These items are higly durable and will stand the test of time.
